The power off and on button is not working on the efb. When I try to go back to the home screen it just clicks and nothing happens.

Same here - clicking the top of display does get around this issue as @jackson mentioned.

Ok guys I got it. You have to click right on the time and date in the upper left corner

This is a known issue with the current v0.2.0 build of the 146 Professional on Xbox and we uploaded v0.2.1 new to the marketplace last Friday which includes a fix. The release timeframe of this update is in the hands of the marketplace team, but we hope it should be released in the next Marketplace update this Thursday.
As previously mentioned in this thread, clicking the time at the top centre of the EFB should work to get you back to the home page until the next update is released.
