Going into a lot of smaller airports you don't always have a localizer type approach, so I end up just going old school visual with no back up radio navaid, but my god is the GPWS alerts annoying for these types of approaches and as far as I can tell, there's no way to silence these, are there?

The GPWS altitude alerts can be enabled/disabled via the "GPWS Altitude Callouts" option on the Aircraft page of the EFB, and GPWS alerts for the glideslope and flaps/landing gear can be enabled/disabled using switches on the lower left side of the main instrument panel, but the other GPWS alerts ("sink rate", "too low terrain") are permanently enabled at the moment.

We've logged this feedback on our internal bugs/feature request tracker and we'll see what can be done in the next update to the F28.

@Mark Hey Mark, turning off the glide slope/flap/landing gear GPWS switches did the trick. Much appreciated. Perhaps something that could be added to the manual for non-ILS/visual approaches, or for flap settings above full?

We'll make a note to add that to the manual for the next update.
