Glideslope problems
-
I'm wondering if the autopilot glideslope following is going to be addressed. It is awful. It used to be fine, but something is very very wrong with it now. In my case, the AP captures it ok at first, but despite being fully configured and at Vref+5, the plane just won't follow the dot and it (the dot, not the plane) just keeps going further and further below the middle spot and the plane makes one or two ineffective tries to follow it down , but it just gets further behind, resulting in being too high as you get near to the threshold. Multiple posters have agreed on at least two different threads about this. All my other payware planes do just fine.
It is getting to the point where I just don't want to even fly this plane, which stinks, because it is by far my favorite plane for MSFS. -
We are aware of the autopilot not holding the glideslope perfectly, this we believe came about after a recent sim update that changed the atmosphere/weather in the simulator. It is something we are looking into and once we have a fix it will be included in an update to the 146.

I see that this latest update did not address this issue, correct?

Correct, no changes to the glideslope logic in v0.2.1. As it was something that was affected by a previous MSFS Sim Update it's not something we want to invest too much time into when there is another Sim Update due in the next few days/weeks that could change the behaviour again. We will be investigating this again once Sim Update 15 releases.
