    Hello there,

I have been filing as /G on VATSIM for some time with this aircraft, not being RVSM approved. Of course /A when you get rid of the FMS entirely.

However I have been finding myself struggling to work out what PBN code to file, until now I have been filing SDFGRY in equipment, C in transponder, and B2B3B4 in PBN. I know its RNAV 5 capable, but unsure about 1 and 2, as this limits the various SIDs and STARs available.

With the default FMS in the 146 Professional, what are the RNAV capabilities (eg. RNAV 1, RNAV 2 etc...)? And will this be different for the UNS-1 when it releases?

    Many Thanks,
    Oliver S

      Hi Oliver,

The 146 is not RVSM approved. No "W" in the equipment section of a Flight Plan.

As far as RNP. It's approved for RNP1 (GR), RNP2 (GR), RNP APCH (GR).

Your codes are correct. With an addition of "Z" (other equipment/info). Where you'd put PBN/O2

I'm referring to the Australian AIP. Other countries may have different codes, but should closely align with ICAO.

      Cheers,

So following on from this, now the UNS-1 FMS has released, will the PBN codes remain the same? My understanding is that the older UNS-1 is not RNAV1 compliant, again difficult to find the info.
