Potable water
-
@Huibrecht The potable water will be consumed slowly over time, with usage increasing if the coffeemaker is used. From the information we could find online, on the real aircraft the amount of potable water stored on the aircraft would be enough for multiple flights and it would just be refilled as necessary, so we have set the usage rate to be pretty slow in the sim. The usage will be more apparent on longer flights.
I believe we also added logic so that if one of the service doors is opened, the potable water will be refilled.

@Mark After a couple more flights i noticed that potable water is consumed during flight when boarding has been initiated "standard". If any service or cargo door is opened/closed manually during boarding, there seems to be no potable water consumption during flight, neither there is any cabin noise like intercom "ping" and neither coffee is being brewed automatically.
So maybe the animated cabin during flight is overruled by any door you have opened/closed yourself during the boarding process? -
@Huibrecht Thank you for reporting this. We've logged this on our internal bugs tracker and we'll investigate this further.
Just to confirm, was the "Auto Cabin Crew" option enabled on the EFB when you were seeing these issues? The cabin chimes and coffeemaker brewing automatically are enabled when the "Auto Cabin Crew" option is enabled and although they trigger at random intervals, over a typical 1 hour flight you should hear both of them at least once if all is working correctly.
