V2 Weights
-
I have noticed since trying to setup a flight in the updated 146-300 V2 that there is a variation in the "Empty Weight" between Just Flight and MSFS 2020 of 5344 lbs (JF: 56,530 lbs / MSFS: 51,186 lbs). When trying to correct the weights in the "EFB" the "PAX TOTAL", "FWD CARGO" and "AFT CARGO" keep flashing regardless what numbers I put in, also the "GROSS WEIGHT" does not alter regardless what weights are entered above. The only way I can get the correct "GROSS WEIGHT" is to fiddle the numbers in MSFS weight window.

@Grizlee We do not officially support the MSFS weight and balance menu as we have found it to be a bit lacking when it comes to correctly inputting the desired fuel and payload into airliners and can provide some misleading figures. The weights shown on the EFB will be correct based on the aircraft's current fuel and payload.
If the weights are flashing on the EFB, this indicates that the weights have been "armed" but are not yet "active". You will see the weights flashing when you load into the aircraft at the gate, and this is to indicate that these weights need to be set to their desired values, and then boarding can be started. Once boarding has been started, the text in the fields will stop flashing and turn amber to indicate boarding is in progress, green when boarding is complete in that field, and black once boarding the entire aircraft is complete.
When you load a flight on the runway, the text will all be black indicating that the weights are "active" and that it is what is actually loaded on the aircraft.
Hope that helps.

Mark, It's brilliant, as the passengers board and the cargo is loaded you can see the "ZFW" "Gross Weight"" increasing to practically match the SimBrief figures. Along with the sounds of the loading and FS Traffic, GSX Pro its becoming more and more immersive.
