Native MSFS Control Assignment for Autopilot VS Mode Engage/Disengage?
-
First off I'd like to say thank you very much to the JustFlight team who worked on the BAE-146 v2 update.
It's amazing what you guys added here as a free update. From the UNS-1 to the highly detailed cabin and all the bells and whistles that go along with that, to the technical improvements and aircraft handling updates.Sure, there seem to be a few bugs here and there to squash to make it flawless but I'm very confident you guys will hammer that out over the coming weeks/months.
So thanks very much again for all the hard work and dedication on this aircraft that so many of us love, and I know tons of us - myself included - are waiting with bated breath for the RJ(s), whenever we get it/them.
Anyway, my question is simple. Pretty much as it says in the post title... is there a native MSFS control button assignment to engage/disengage the AP VS mode?
I know that "TOGGLE AUTOPILOT FLIGHT LEVEL CHANGE" seems to be an 'unlisted' (as per pg.259 of the 146 manual) native control assignment to toggle IAS mode, so I thought maybe one exists for VS mode as well and tied to an obscure control assignment.
If so, would you be able to let me know what that is?
Or where I can go to find a list of all the native MSFS control assignments for the 146 that aren't straightforwardly listed in the native MSFS control window?I see the note at the bottom of that page (pg.259) about home cockpit users and using the Developer mode to find the 'LVARs'. Will that also show the control assignments?
Thanks very much!

@Erebus66 As 'rbringh' posted above, the 'TOGGLE AUTOPILOT VS HOLD' will be the control assignment you will want to use for the vertical speed autopilot mode.
Any MSFS control assignment can be searched for by going to MSFS Options > Controls Options > Selecting your hardware at the top of the page > Type the desired control assignment into the "Search by name" field.
The MSFS control assignments may not always be obvious and it can take a few goes to find the correct control assignment. For instance, this vertical speed control assignment wouldn't appear if you searched for "Vertical", "Speed", or "Vertical Speed", but it does appear if you search for the abbreviation "VS".
We typically only list non-standard control assignments in the manual and then all other control assignments should be pretty standard and shared across other aircraft in the simulator. We are always here though if you need some help finding a certain control assignment.

@piedmonitor Sadly I don't believe there is an ALT ARM control assignment in MSFS, likely due to none of the default aircraft having an altitude arm button.
We'll take a look and see if there is another control assignment we can assign to it for the next update to the 146.
