Jittery FPS (most noticeable when panning camera)
-
I have constant jittery FPS with the 146 Professional for MSFS. This is the only plane in the sim that has this behavior. It's always been like this (both before and after the recent update).
When panning the camera, the motion isn't smooth and looks jittery. I get good average FPS, but the 1% lows are more frequent and lower than any other plane I've flown in the sim and it makes for a less enjoyable experience.
The screenshots below show a comparison between the F28 Professional and the 146 Professional. Both are loaded at the same location, same conditions, and cold-and-dark state.
I get smooth motion/FPS in the F28, and this is reflected in the Main Thread plot in the top-right corner of the screen. It is consistent with no interruptions.
The plot of the Main Thread of the 146 Professional shows a different story however. The main thread time is inconsistent with frequent interruptions (the yellow vertical lines).
It seems that something is constantly interrupting the Main Thread and causing inconsistent render times and FPS. I'm not talking about the major hitch/stutter that happens roughly every 5 seconds (which I've seen discussed elsewhere on this forum). This is a continuous and frequent interruption in the FPS (several times per second) that becomes most noticeable when panning the camera which results in a jittery motion. Also, I realize I'm kind of picky about FPS and this issue may only be noticeable at higher FPS where this interruption in the Main Thread time becomes the limiting factor for FPS. Still, this is the only plane where this happens.
I'm curious why this is the case. This plane isn't any more complex (as far as I am aware) than the F28 Professional, PMDG 737, ATR, or Fenix A320 (all are complex planes with which I don't see this behavior and get smooth FPS in almost all situations). So why does this happen with the 146 Professional? Do other people also see this behavior and/or have any theories?

@Mark The latest update totally fixed this! So much smoother and enjoyable for us folk that are able to run it at higher FPS. Main thread plot agrees.
This was already one of my favorite planes, but now with this and the nosewheel steering smoothed out, I might have to put my PMDG 737 in long-term storage. Thanks a bunch. I love you guys!
