Request IFR Clearance at cold and dark state
-
After the last update whenever I start my flight I only have "Request IFR Clearance" as flight option.
Prior to the update when I would select my departure parking space with no arrival selected, start the flight and the flight mode was basically set as VFR. Now it starts in IFR mode, with IFR as the only option I have to request IFR clearance then cancel it to get VFR option. However even after getting VFR clearance when in flight I get IFR ATC instructions, bad ones too. At take off I'm instructed to climb and maintain zero altitude. Once in flight I'm then instructed to descend to 2000ft. I know the ATC is an Asobo issue but was something changed in the flight config files to cause this flight mode change at startup? -

Does this only occur if you enable the UNS-1 FMS and input a flight plan, or does it also happen when using the other FMS options and/or when the UNS-1 FMS is enabled but no flight plan has been inputted into it?
I will give those options a test and let you know. That's going to take quite a few restarts...lol.

I changed the FMS options to Modern then powered up. The ATC choice seems to have me set as VOR flight mode. Seems their is something in the UN-1 or Classic FMS that is causing the issue.
- While still powered up I switched back to the Classic FMS. ATC choices remained the same -VOR
- I loaded a saved flight plan from FMS and ATC choices remained the same -VOR.
- After entering departure runway and arrival information ATC reverted back to IFR choice only. Checked again and it reverted to IFR only after departure information was selected.
Hope that helps resolve the problem. Any quick fixes I can apply and still use the Classic FMS choice?
