v0.3.8 Autopilot Issues
-
Is anyone having any weird behavior with the autopilot with v0.3.8 and SU13? I can't say if it started with 0.3.8 or SU13, as it's been a while since I've flown GA, but during a flight yesterday the autopilot was behaving as though altitude hold was on when I would initially engage it.
I tried using both the cockpit buttons and my Logitech Multifunction panel to turn the AP on, and both had the same results. After turning the autopilot on, it defaulted to heading mode, but locked my pitch trim and I couldn't adjust it. I don't think I was able to use the elevator, either. Toggling Altitude Hold on/off through the hidden clickspot released elevator and trim control to me again, but this would happen whenever I reengaged the autopilot.
I was unable to engage Nav mode to see if I had the same issue, but I didn't have a VOR tuned in or a GPS destination set, so maybe that's why. When I turned the autopilot on it defaulted to Heading mode, as well, when I'm pretty sure it used to default to a roll mode. I don't have the manual in front of me to double check, though.
Curious if anyone else has seen similar issues.

Hi.
I am having weird issues also. When I turn on the AP, Heading mode is active. Pressing the HDG button does nothing. Also, even when I have a GPS destination, NAV mode does nothing.
Also, it doesn't appear that ALT does anything as well.
This is the same behavior from the cockpit buttons and the Logitech panel. I even switched yokes thinking my new Brunner CLS-E NG was causing the issue. Even when switching back to the Alpha the issue still persists.
