Pitch switch and Roll knob not working?
-
I have been having a problem with the Pitch and Roll knobs on the lower left side of the center console that controls turning and pitch while the autopilot is on. Before the update these functions worked properly but after the update they seem broken. Not sure if I am forgetting something or something is indeed broken?
For example when I take off and clean the plane up reaching say 3000 to 5000 feet I engage the autopilot and select Pitch mode. I believe it actually turns on automatically most if not all the time. The plane will settle in at about 2000 ft per minute climb give or take a few. Which is fine at first. However as I climb higher I wish to lower the nose and accelerate. I do so by placing my mouse of the red toggle switch. In the previous version I would get an up or down arrow and pushing the button and/or moving the knob on the mouse would toggle the switch and my nose would drop. Usually as you speed up you have to hit again a few times.
In the new version when I try and use the blue toggle switch all I get is a hand for the mouse cursor over the toggle switch and the switch does not move. Same thing for the red roll knob. All I get is a hand and no matter what I try that knob does not move.
Other functions on the autopilot and around the cockpit function normally but from some reason those switches on the lower center console don't work. They did before!
Another odd thing since the update is I can dial in my cruise altitude and the plane will automatically level off at that altitude. Engaging Altitude Hold does not seem to do anything however the switch does work. I always thought on these old jets the altitude adjustment just sets an alarm and you have to be sure and hit the altitude hold switch in order to actually level off.
Any help would be appreciated. Otherwise greatly enjoying the F28!

Your best bet would probably be to contact Just Flight support. There is a link at www.justflight.com and you can raise a ticket there.
