    I noticed there are separate style flood lights that illuminate the main panel and overhead panel that automatically come on when the battery is connected but no AC power is yet available.

    My main question: is there a way to activate those particular lights sets after AC power is established?

    Second question: where is the light source for the overhead panel in the above condition? I see the small incandescent lights above the main panel, but I can't seem to see where the light for the overhead is coming from when only on Batt power.

    Thanks!

      Unfortunately I'm not aware of any method for switching on the emergency cockpit lighting once DC/AC electrical power is available. Nothing is mentioned in the real world manuals.

      The overhead light is here:

        @martyn
        Thanks for the reply. It seems there would be a way IRL to test it without turn almost all power to the aircraft off, but I'm no expert.

        Thanks again, I LOVE this aircraft
