Xbox release?
-
Hi team,
The 146 release for Xbox was incredible, everything was optimized and worked flawlessly out of the box, it's a product that's well loved, enjoyed by many on the platform and has put Just Flight at the top of the list for those looking for quality add-ons both inside and outside of the console environment
With all that said and the success of the 146 on Xbox, will we also be seeing an Xbox release of the Fokker? Is this something we may see soon?
Ps. I've searched and reviewed the product page and information available on the JF website and haven't seen any mention or answer to the above.
Thank you.

We aim to put all our titles on to Microsoft's PC Market Place. However, once subnitted it is up to them when they release on PC and XBox. In theory, now that the WASM issue is sorted, any PC submission should work on XBox (although that's not a guarantee) and so when we submit the F28 and (if) they release it, it should be PC and console compatible from Day 1.
To answer the next question, no, we don't have a date for submission, but probably weeks rather than months.

@derek Thank you, Derek.
When submitted to the Marketplace products have to be specifically marked as Xbox compatible otherwise even if they are released on the Microsoft PC marketplace they won't be available on Xbox.
Are you saying that when you all submit the product to the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace that you submit it for both console and PC? I just wanted to confirm as I think I got confused with some of the terminology in your reply.
Thank you,

@martyn said in Xbox release?:
@easy301 Hi Greg. Yes, we now submit all our in-house developed aircraft for both PC and Xbox at the same time, so you should see the F28 appearing on both platforms at the same time.
That's a really great precedent and I hope other developers follow suit, this is great news and a huge reason I'll remain a dedicated JF customer as well as recommending the products to my fellow simmers.
Thank you for continuing to make products that users can enjoy regardless of which platform they use to engage with MSFS.
Have a wonderful weekend and congratulations on the release.
Gregory.
