I want this aircraft SO badly...

...but, I've only just started MSFS so not sure I can justify the £50 price tag. What is like to fly in 'arcade' mode? You know what I mean!
I'll learn to sim with it eventually but I want to just have fun for now. :) Does it handle well?

@clevatreva I think for "just for fun" and for a beginner it is much better to use GA planes and not a study level airliner. You do not make your driving license in a formula 1 racecar ;)
And the stock C152, C172 are really good to start your virtual pilot career. -

And the stock C152, C172 are really good to start your virtual pilot career.@hama Thanks. I get that but just wanted to know if it handles well. I'd assume it does. Although new to MSFS I've played DCS and Falcon 4 (back in its heyday). ;)

@clevatreva Over all i would say it handles well, if you follow the procedures.
I have an issue that it does not hold the cruise height in AP and that is a reason why i did not use it for a longer time now. And sometimes rain and clouds strave through the cockpit... So i am waiting for an update that hopefully fixes these things.
Actually i have more fun in flying mir modern aircraft like the 737. -

Is the model available with the later glass cockpit or would that strictly be on the RJ variants?

@clevatreva The 146 does only have the steam gauges. And it is equiped with an FMC what is limited in functions.

No Derek, i have not. I posted the issue with rain/clouds in the cockpit longer ago here in the forum and someome from the dev team mentioned this is a known issue that will be fixed in an upcoming update.

No Derek, i have not. I posted the issue with rain/clouds in the cockpit longer ago here in the forum and someome from the dev team mentioned this is a known issue that will be fixed in an upcoming update.

@clevatreva RJ is in development now. It will be released later this year. Owners of the current 146 will qualify for a discount on it.
