    Re: No Traffic

    So, here's my most recent experience. Downloaded the update. I opted to run FStraffic without the ingame panel. I've noticed that FStraffic has to be running prior to starting MSFS or no traffic will be injected if it is started after MSFS is started, ok, no big deal, I can do that. Once MSFS is started and I load into my departure airport, I see traffic, and all looks well. I type in my destination in the main software interface, check. I start my flight, check.....I see some enroute traffic (albeit very little than what's probably supposed to be there per schedules...maybe see 6-10 enroute planes on a 120 nm trip...I arrive at my destination and see some arriving traffic and traffic at the gates....check. I then will proceed to return to my originating airport as a roundtrip flight. I'll now type in my new destination airport...check. I begin my flight, now see very little enroute traffic, and upon arriving at my originating airport there is zero traffic on the ground, departing, or arriving. If I try to close and restart FStraffic, nothing happens...still no traffic. The only way I can inject traffic again is if I restart MSFS program!!! Surely you don't expect users to have to restart MSFS every time they want to do different legs on flights without a full sim restart?? If so, I think I will request a refund, unless you know and admit this is an issue and you are working on a fix asap. Otherwise, I feel I was duped into buying this faulty program with false and misleading claims about a total AI solution. Please advise.

    BTW: yes this is a copy/paste from my support ticket, so please don't ask if I have opened up a ticket with support. At this point, I THINK SUPPORT SHOULD KNOW THESE ARE THE SAME ISSUES FOR MANY USERS!!!

    I do not understand what you mean by the above quote.

    There is nothing external you need to run JF Traffic-wise before you launch FS2020. It's embedded in the game, like other traffic dlc.

    What do you mean by the quote?

    OK, I stand corrected....so, I just restarted a flight without the main program running first and it did inject traffic. I think I got confused that when I finished a roundtrip and there was no traffic at the destination, I did a sim restart with FStraffic still running in the background and then noticed traffic reappeared, so I was assuming the main program had to be running in the background first....my bad. I'm losing track of all the tweaks and things I'm doing to try and get it to run correctly.:confounded_face:

    @2thfixer Hello,

    You certainly shouldn't require a full sim restart in between legs however at the moment you do need to exit into the main menu and start a new flight. You can increase the enroute traffic by increasing the "time before cruise traffic spawn attempts" in the TCC options tab.

    John - Just Flight.

    Could you explain exactly what this setting does, as it’s missed out in your manual, as far as I can see. The manual explains the Time Before Departure value, but not the Cruise Traffic Spawn.

    Does this setting attempt to spawn in new Ai cruise traffic around the player at the specified time setting?

    Thank you.
