DHL/FedEx/UPS/Cargolux/Qatar Airways Cargo/Emirates Cargo -routes and liveriesJust wanted to add my vote :) Looking forward to buy the package in the future.
There are some cargo routes and Qatar, Emirates, Cargolux, but you have to put in repaints manually. Wideroe has most of their routes on old flight plans but only a Q400 repaint with the FS Traffic package.

@twentyfivehundred Yes, but a Q400 is too large for most airports Widerøe fly to.
@Derek @voice-of-reason Are you going to curate and distribute liveries done by the community somehow? Would be great if possible.

Use AI from other traffic packages. FSLTL has a DH8C WIF repaint.

@derek "However... where does the Ju52 operate from?"
As an example, I know that there is a DC-3 Dakota at Sandefjord Torp ENTO that flies in the spring and summer. However, after a small google search, it actually seems like the group that operated the JU-52 flights I knew of, warned this august that they might not ble able to continue due to new regulations. So I agree that it seems difficult to make realistic routes for these kind of planes. Never the less, I still belive it makes sense for FS Traffic to balance the package so that you get the most popular aircraft in the simulator represented for online use. Just Flights own Bae 146/Avro would be nice to have?
-
@twentyfivehundred Thanks fot the input, but I've yet spent less than 100 hours in MSFS, so waiting to start with any traffic until there is a single package that fits most of my 'needs'. As I still have a lot of learning to do in regards to basic navigation and operation of the more advanced jets. Even without traffic and with a powerful computer, there are a lot of performance and compatibility conflicts, so I'll try to keep the simulator as clean as possible. Looking forward to FS Traffic as a one-stop shop for AI and VATSIM traffic.

But it would need to be on a scheduled flight and, as there are so few such flights the only solution would be extremely limited operation (which wouldn't justify the cost) or fake flights, which would then interfere with the majority of users.

Mahan Air, and you would also find an excuse for getting the A310 represented? :) Anyways, personally, would not mind to pay for an extended package that included popular 3rd-party aircraft, that may not have a lot of routes in the simulated world, but it may not be a big market...? However, FS Traffic will probably be a product all serious VATSIM/IVAO users would like buy, due to the quality of the livery and models itself? Once the product gets a few updates, have you considered running a campaign with VATSIM / IVAO?
-
What do you mean by a campaign? A sales campaign?
-
@Derek yes, as the new simulator is so extremely good graphic wise, I would guess professionally made aircrafts for traffic is the only way to get the performance and consistent quality the simulator lay ground for. I just mentioned this with a sales campaign, as an idea, I don't expect any further discussion on the subject, but personally, a product like FS Traffic is what I've been waiting for before taking up online flying again (flew a bit online back in the FSX days): A professionally maintained database of high quality, high performance aircrafts.

When I wrote my initial post, I did not understand how many issues the system (MSFS or FS Traffic) had with the traffic itself. I'll buy the package according to the first 'encouragement'. But a nice traffic package for my part, aside from the model library, would be 'something that lives its own life'. I would not like to specify where I'm headed or restart the simulator for every flight, and would expect proper en-route traffic at correct flight levels during a flight, and a proper traffic pattern where ever I would land.
Hope there is direct dialog with MSFS/Asobo to improve the system?
Another issue with the simulator itself, that adds a lot of stress for the end user, is the lack of a 'static aircraft' switch in the options menu. If one wants to fly without traffic, the 'static aircraft' that many developers add make the airports look great and feel live enough and add atmosphere. Ideally I would just like a switch to turn on and off traffic, and not needing to think more about it. Hence pay Just Flight a decent amount for the traffic product, and spend my time flying in the simulator. Just some thoughts from an end user.
