We always reserve the right to try and get something working before supplying a refund. We are UK based and, although our team has been around over the weekend, it was a weekend and we are trying to process the support requests in order of priority as fast as possible.

It's still VERY hit or miss for me. Sometimes traffic just pops up, sometimes it doesn't. Nothing else changes from my end except the location. When it works, it works great, but I find myself reverting back to FSLTL more often than I should. I would submit a ticket, but I can't get it to be repeatable. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Not sure what else to do.

Time of day? The location could be important if it's a default or add-on airport and also the amount of objects being displayed.

Support will reply to you and either resolve the issue, or, if the software can't be made to work on your system, give you a refund. NB that I have not seen any reports here or in other forums about the sim not 'looking the same'. Can you let Support know specifically whayt has changed?

OK, many thanks. If uninstalled via Windows or the installer it should remove everything. Not sure what files would alter the look of the sim, but there you go.

@derek Glad to hear it, but I suggest that if JF were to acknowledge that there are some issues for some of the customers, at least I would not be asking for a refund. As of now people get told that everything is OK.
For me there is too many tweaks, adjustments, turn everything else down and still you see no or little traffic. There must be something not right. Basically it was not as advertised IMO.
But I'll stick to buying aircraft from you. -
@mookie2661 If you all have no traffic try to remove the data in the localcache packages, MSFS folder for the FS Traffic module and it will rebuild itself. If you have no traffic on arrival I see the sim doing that when there is too much traffic and ground vehicles being created. I set only pushback vehicles and went through and assigned all missing repaints in the traffic database

@twentyfivehundred Yessir. I appreciate the feedback. I posted that very same fix towards the top of this thread a few days ago. It's hit or miss. Also, I have it set to No ground vehicles.

It needs a pushback option or else they disappear I found. I went through the database and assigned missing models there were a lot of them, from other AI packages. Each main aircraft.cfg has entries for ground vehicles. I set pushback = 1 for all of them and jetways =1 and other ground options = 0

@twentyfivehundred I get what you're saying and appreciate your willingness to help, but I'm tired of trying to find work-arounds that we shouldn't have to do with $40 software. We shouldn't have to fiddle with databases. We shouldn't have to delete files before every flight. FSLTL just works better. The only thing it costs is a few FPS. I will continue to use that until a true patch or fix is found by the developer.

Well yes... we accept this in flight sim with every addon. I will be patient and wait for updates. I am lucky to have tweaked flight sims enough over the decades to be used to this "requirement" and I am successful in making FS Traffic work for me. Sorry to hear so many people are unable to enjoy this addon.

But I'll stick to buying aircraft from you.We have definitely acknowledged that there are issues for some customers which is why I have been asking for them to submit support tickets so we can trace any commonality and so acsertain what may be causing the problem(s).

This is untrue. Support was not able to get my traffic to appear unless I disabled the most crucial features of the program (ground services, jetways, etc) and none of the steps they instructed me to try solved the problem.
When I explained this, they gaslit me and stated "We don't usually offer exchanges or refunds on downloads for unwanted products as there's nothing physical to return" and referred me to their terms and conditions. As if the problem is that I simply don't want the product when the actual problem is that the product doesn't work.
They then tried to convince me to wait for an update with no release date instead of requesting a refund which you stated I was entitled to, for a product that literally does not work.
This will 100% be the last time I buy a Just Flight product and I will be 100% sure to use my resources to spread the word about my experience.
