    Hi,

    Wondering why is SHIFT-Z coupled to the autopilot toggle, while this key combination is NOT assigned to it on my system?

    Only happens on the BAe-146. So seems to be hard coded in the aircraft?

    @mgr We don't use any hard-coded assignments, only those configured through the MSFS control options menu. I.e. autopilot toggle is controlled by the TOGGLE AUTOPILOT MASTER assignment.

    What is shown if you search your assignments for Shift+Z?

    @martyn

    Shows nothing, that is the strange part:

    I'm using the SHIFT-Z mod, this way i discovered it.

    Or could it be this mod converts the SHIFT-Z into your autopilot variable?
    So far i could tell no other aircraft does not have this problem.

    PS
    Just did a check with the SHIFT-Z mod removed.

    Even then the key-combi SHIFT-Z toggles the autopilot.

    @martyn

    Just noticed it happens also with your Piper Warrior.

    So could it be in some general Justflight code which have both aircraft in common??

    @mgr Do you still get the issue if you remove this assignment?

    Hi,

    If you remove this, the issues goes away.

    Seems this proves some "Justflight-code" is the problem, that it also interprets "SHIFT-Z" as "Z"???

    @mgr We use SimConnect (within a WASM gauge) to 'intercept' the autopilot control assignments but there is nothing hardcoded, e.g. Shift+Z. We are entirely reliant on MSFS and SimConnect to detect when a specific control assignment has been used, such as AUTOPILOT TOGGLE.

    For some reason it looks like MSFS is detecting Shift+Z, Ctrl+Z etc as Z, and thus notifies our gauge that AUTOPILOT TOGGLE has been triggered. We'll report that to Asobo for them to investigate.

    @martyn Thank for the feedback, just to be sure for the Piper Warrior also uses WASM for the autopilot controls?
