Four strange problems
-
Being doing some flying today and found three strange problems. Very much welcome any suggestions please...
-
When flying, if I press ESC to go into the sim options. When I've made my change, usually to some graphics setting, I go back to the sim and suddenly I've got engine failure and a Christmas tree of warning light. Regardless of any actions by me, the RAT does deploy but I can't get the engine to restart?
-
Flying around RAF Valley (EGOV) I followed another Hawk to land and park. When I pulled up beside the other Hawk I noticed it was hovering about 3 feet in the air! Why is that happening?
-
I watch cgiaviator on YouTube, especially his Hawk videos. I see him turning on the landing lights but when I try to click the switch (in VR but using my mouse) I get a click, the landing lights flash but stay on and the switch doesn't move.
-
I'm having a lot of problems selecting anything on the EFB, regardless of its position. I can not get the Autopilot Master to turn on, if I click Alt Hold I see the number of the Alt below the buttons but all the buttons stay red and the autopilot does not engage.
All a bit strange... Time to reinstall?

So I've got some answers, so posting in case it helps others...

@katchaplin had the perfect answer, it was the mapping of mixture.
-
There is freeware scenery for RAF Valley (EGOV) and there appear to be differences in the terrain levels.
-
Once again a mapping conflict. I searched for the landing light and found a button mapping that was in conflict with and switch on the cockpit panel.
-
Yet again a mapping conflict... starting to see a bit of a pattern here. I had the Autopilot Master mapped to a switch and that was stopping / conflicting with the EFB buttons.
