Making the throttle idle stop lever work in flight

    I've got v0.1.4 installed and since upgrading from earlier versions have been having problems with the engine stopping in flight when I pull the throttle back to idle.

    The issue seems to be making the throttle idle stop lever work as intended in flight. The manual says: "The idle stop is withdrawn to permit rearward movement of the throttle to HP OFF, by lifting a spring-loaded idle stop lever on either throttle. Left-click on the stop lever to move it between the IDLE and HP OFF positions."

    This works as intended when sitting on the runway, ie I can put it in the idle position and pull the throttle back and the engine remains running. But as soon as I'm in the air any attempt to come back to idle results in the Gen, AC1, AC2, AC3 and FPR warning lights illuminating and, if I don't hit the DC reset button and the AC1 and AC2 reset buttons in time, I crash.

    In other words, I seem to be unable to set the idle stop lever to IDLE while in the air, even though it works fine on the runway. I don't believe I encountered this problem in versions prior to v0.1.4.

    @ken I have a very similar problem. Once airborne, bringing the throttle back to idle gives those warnings together with a CWS alert.

    The engine continues to perform correctly but I lose a number of instruments (due to losing electrical power I guess).

    I use the Gen reset button and the warnings extinguish.

    All very strange.

    @martyn Thank you: I'd not realised this was the same issue. The fix someone identified there works for me. Simply switching the engine ignition switch to "off" stops this problem arising.
