I have a new problem. Well it has happened a couple of times in the past. But now it seems to happen every time. I am inputting the flight plan data and hit one of the keys and the whole thing goes off. I mean it instantly switches off P3D. It is literally instant. Any ideas?

@old-john Have you checked event viewer in Windows for any errors from P3D? I had an issue for a while where a similar action would cause P3D to CTD before it mysteriously fixed itself.
If you can reproduce I'd recommend sending details to JF Support -
