    Hi.

When I use the GPS to fly, it tracks the magenta line fine, but sways from side to side - a few degrees left, and then right.

Is this a big or am I missing something? On Heading mode, it flies straight and level.

    Cheers.

@stwutter Is this with significant cross wind?

@corvus5624 TBH, I don't know. It's happened at 5000ft and much higher, so I doubt it. Even so, surely that wouldn't lead the Hawk to go left and then right?

@stwutter Well that could be, if there is wind do you not need to fly at the heading of the desired track, but at a crab angle. If the autopilot is not aware of this it will point the aircraft along the track heading, causing it to fly off course. It then has to correct for it and if this correcting is too large it will end up at the other end of the track. I don't know the specifics of this autopilot, but some autopilots tend to cause oscillations. Since you indicated that heading hold does work, my mind went to errors that affect heading, that's all.

    Ah, OK, thx.

I doubt it's that TBH - it's never happened in any other plane. But I will try it later and when it happens, kill any wind to see if it makes any difference.

I've been using the autopilot without issues in the past, but recently when I set to Nav Hold it has started doing the swaying, I think only since the last update, but could be related to SU7 as well. It doesn't do it if I select Heading Hold, only Nav Hold.

@katchaplin This appears to be another bug caused by SU7... JF is aware of it.
