@vcapra1 Yes I think you're right but I have to wonder why the sound level of this is so far off. It need not be so quiet. Surely the correct fix for this is to increase the volume of them and not have me manipulate the sounds of everything else in the sim to accommodate it. I mean, we do have a volume control for this on the aircraft. Max volume should be louder.

@jazz Asobo have known about this for ages but it's obviously way down on their priorities.

@vcapra1 said in Nav Ident Audio:

@jazz I think it's just that quiet in the sim. I have my volume sliders adjusted to like 50% (or maybe even 33%) except for the one that controls those sounds which is at 100%, which makes it much easier to hear.

I tried this with Cockpit sounds at max. and the others turned down but with the volume up sufficient to hear the Nav ident, the wind noise turns up as well and is horrendously loud, especially with the gear down.

@sender46 No doubt. But now they have broken my TrackIr I would prefer them to fix that first, I suppose 😂

@sender46 These are my settings, and I don't have any issues with loud wind noise:

@n293wk Thank you for that. That works much better than what I had :)

I had Master Volume turned down as well and speakers turned up, which doesn't work well at all. DOH!

@sender46 But it doesn't provide the same functionality, though. When you use it it still disables head tracking which means that the view still shifts centre and forward and that means that you can't look and interact with the click spots you need to. It's completely broken.

@sender46 No worries. I have seen a few people suggesting this as a fix. I wish it were.
