After having gone through the startup from "Cold & Dark" state, the ILS is inop.

There are no warning or caution lights lit - ie. all electrical busses seems online.
Setting the ILS freq and selecting ILS on the TACAN/ILS button does nothing - GS and NAV flags in the HSI are shown indicating that no ILS signal is received.

Selecting "Ready to Start", and then go through the startup procedure from there, and the ILS will work just fine. Same for "Ready for Takeoff".

@wothan Is the mode selector on the ILS receiver set to ILS or VOR?

Are you following the startup checklists...? Did you set the AHRS (Leg Panel) to SLV...?

This will be fixed in the next update. In the meantime please make sure the VHF, UHF and ILS radios are all switched on.

Yep - but regardless, the ILS should not be affected by the ARHS.

Here is an excellent new YouTube video that goes through the entire cold and dark startup process... It even includes some very impressive airshow manuevers at the end! https://youtu.be/TqDILAAc9aA

The HSI requires the AHRS to operate...

The problem is that all radios needs to be turned on for the ILS radio to work.

I had forgotten to turn the UHF (COM 2) Radio on.
This should not be necessary in real life, but a fix is comming.

I have also found that on the ground, ILS will not come alive despite being tuned correctly and all the radios in the correct state. I suspect it' may be because I pre-tuned the freq before setting the radio states. Anyway, the fix for me is simple - change digit 1 by 1 notch and then set back to correct freq and it comes alive.
