Firstly I'd just like to say the Piper Arrow planes are amazing and I love flying those whenever I can. Good work!

With today's MSFS 2020 mandatory update my Piper Arrow planes are broken. They seem to have trim and aileron issues. They appear to sit in the wrong position (not aligned) and they also flip/lock causing the plane to steep climb (trim does not help) and alternate between banking left and right.

I hope you're able to address these soon, I need to be in the skies once more!

      No problems on my side.

Did you update having an empty community folder, e.g. by renaming it to CommunityX, before running the update? Later on you can delete the newly generated Community folder and rename the CommunityX folder to Community again.

@harry_w Like the previous reverse trim issue, I think this is only a problem if you are using the trim axis bindings. Using the up/down button bindings seems to be working fine for me

@harry_w Thanks for replying, much appreciated. I did not do anything prior to the update but once I found that the Arrow was misbehaving I reinstalled both Piper III and IV but that had no affect, sadly.

@tursonaki Do you use a trim wheel or trim buttons? If you use a wheel (that is bound to an axis) try disabling the electronic trim by pressing the rectangular button under the pilot's yoke (popped out=disabled)

@vcapra1 Thanks, I'll try that as one of the issues does seem to be connected to the trim. The secondary and major issue with the ailerons would still remain, so it still might prove difficult to maintain stable flight.

I'm using the Aplha And Bravo Flight Controls.

              Thanks again.

@tursonaki Regarding the aileron, it sounds like autopilot is enabled. Even if the switch is already off, try turning it on and back off again.

Also make sure the AI pilot is disabled (wu6 enables it for me every flight despite it never being enabled before)

@vcapra1 This happens during hand flying, no autopilot. If I look out of the left or right window (depending on bank direction) the ailerons are locked in an up/down position. I'll do some more testing this evening and see what I can gleen.

                    All,

I believe after some testing I have managed to resolve the broken Pipers issue. I tried many things and nothing seemed to work and then it struck me that I hadn't switched to a compeletely different plane. So, I switched to the default Cessna (the original 172) and started a flight. I then put myself back in the Piper Arrow IV and all was, once again, right with the world. I just completed a 2hr flight to El Paso and it was a great flight!

I'd like to thank you all for your help and I hope the above notes serve to help another.

                    Good day.
