Flight control problems...and crashing
-
Flight control problems since the last MSFS v5
update (on arrows and warrior). When I coordinate a turn or want to control the altitude the plane reacts too late or too violently and ends up crashing. The trim is too sensitive now but it doesn't explain the loss of lateral control. I use the complete thrumaster pack and its rudder. Does it happen to others as well? -
@fedar92 flight controls working now great as in real plane. You need a decent forces and plane isn’t wild and sticky.
Elevator trim is to sensitive after last patch and that is sad true and that problem is in all airplanes.
You need to click in button for very short amount of time. When you hold buttons to long, trim will going to fast. -
@SebastianR Yes I think the primary flight controls feel very realistic in the Just Flight PA28 aircraft, and that is why I enjoy flying them so much. Still not so in the stock GA MSFS aircraft I have flown. I think elevator trim was too sensitive in the JF aircraft from the beginning, and now it is much more sensitive in the stock aircraft.

@fedar92 I have experienced this problem before SU5 when attempting to engage altitude hold before first turning on the autopilot and setting it up for stable flight (wings level, heading, or nav mode). IMO I think that there should. be absolutely no response to clicking on the altitude hold spot if the autopilot is not turned on as it would be with an autopilot that actually had an altitude hold function. Otherwise the JF PA28 aircraft continue to be such a pleasure to fly.

I would have to agree that it is more unstable after the SU5 and even after the hotfix released shortly after.
Several planes, payware/freeware mods etc are having issues.
Thankfully JF is aware of these.
For now, I will just fly the modded C208 for now until all these are resolved.
