Priming after engine start kills engine

Hello,
I understand that priming an engine is only done before starting, but I accidentally primed it after starting and the engine shut off and I was not able to restart it. Even the EFB short cuts did not help. I had to restart the flight to fix this.
Have I just misunderstood the implications of priming the engine after start or could this be a logic issue? If it's the former, how would I fix it?
Reproduction steps:
- Click "Ready For Takeoff" on EFB
- Unlock primer and prime
- Notice engine dies and unable to start again

The POH procedure for re-starting a flooded engine is to set the Mixture to cutoff and the throttle to full... give that a try.

I don't have any problem starting the engine, but I use the mouse to hold the magnetos to start until the engine kicks over. I've heard there are problems with controllers that only set it to start momentarily. But I think the start action is accurately modeled.

This will be fixed in the next update.
An EFB warning has been added for engine flooding due to incorrect primer usage. Flooding prior to flight can now be resolved either by following the POH checklist (engine start with mixture/fuel pump off) or by waiting for a short period. Flooding in flight will now cause temporary engine splutter rather than total failure.

@katchaplin Yes no problem using the mouse to engage the starter in the VC. But the starter kicks off too soon when I use my external controller even though it continues to send a start signal as long as I hold the switch in the start position. I am using FSUIPC7 for switch assignment.
