Thats correct they don`t fly along with loads of other airlines that have no livery's so why include them?????. It just adds more airlines that do not show in the sim in other words pointless.

I don't understand. If they don't fly, what is the problem? Are they sat at the gates, maybe? If so, which gates and when?

Ok. I have to correct myself. It sesms, that the MIAT flights are in the schedule only, not at the airports and not flying. I checked some british airports and the traffic is ok there, no MIAT. So we can close this thread? Sorry for making such a mess.

The MAIT Mongolian plans should be TUI plans. There are 4 TUI models available, a 737-800, and 757 a 787-800 and a 787-900. Why they have been substituted by MAIT is a mystery only the programmers at TG can answer.

It you have time and can be bothered you can manually change each plan to the correct aircraft, but the customer should not be expected to amend such an obvious oversight by the supplier! This is simply a lack of attention to detail by Just Flight.

They don`t fly or exist in TG if you used TG you would know this. The OP may not be aware they do not compile and just end up as an error in the log.
And Derek check out the reply from JF too a P3D product that has be cancelled to a user when asking when it will be released. JF words not mine.

            P3Dv5.1 HF.

              @Lockheed-lad

I am not sure this is an 'oversight' - as you can see from the thread above (and the other one) I have repeatedly asked for some clarity on this issue and not really got any. As I have hopefully proved for the last couple of years - if we are made aware of an issue, we can fix it.

As far as the database works, it is a glorified spreadsheet that is sourced from the leading supplier of such things. Among other things, it lists flights, times, airline, aircraft type etc. From this information the flight plans are created. It's a fairly automatic process, so the chances of a typo (ie, fat fingers substituting Mongolian for TUI) are unlikely and would probably affect a lot of flights.
One of the issues we have come across is code-sharing and this can sometimes mean that the airline in the database doesn't match the one you'd expect to see. This may be the issue here, or it may be something else.

If you want to 'fix it' yourself, you are more than welcome. If you want us to fix it (which I'd much prefer) please, please raise a support ticket with all the details and we can look into it.

Tornado F3, just came to P3D
Update to TG, just came to P3D.

You can ask JF what a 318 is, TG cannot find it and returns an error and then we may see less of this.

Any aircraft or livery that cannot be found ends up in the error log and there are thousands.

That's the way the program works. The log.txt shouldn't affect users. Perhaps all the 318s are parked up in Ulan Bator?

Veering off of the OP's subject somewhat but...

I asked Rich about why there was no A318 model in TG way back when on the EA forum and he did give an explanation but, of course, now I've lost all the historical data I kept, I can't recall the reason (though I have some vague idea that it was something to do with the A319).

                      Over to Rich?
