@Smeets Just some feedback, on how I fly low alt IFR with the F28: in the USA I use WxPro for flight planning, approaches. Outside USA use skyvector for IFR planning, fixes and then set up the 430 GPS unit, so do not use the EFB, except for "refuelling when using the centre tank ". Issue is getting access to approach plates (outside USA), but Google for these. Using MSFS2020, and F28-4000, which is a remarkable piece of software generated by Just Flight.

Never mind. Avionics is configured through the EFB. Problem solved.

Still stuck with the A/P not tracking the localizer. Here is a flight KDCA-KLGA, star: SWANN.GATBY until PROUD flix then ILS RWY 4, Loc 110.5, alt 2700ft. Leave KDCA on vector 076 to SWANN, 5000ft. After leaving PROUD flix, line up on localizer using A/P heading and then switch to BEAM and GLIDESLOPE ON, here the F28-4000 is not tracking the localizer (only glideslope). The GPS unit (GN340) set to direct KLGA, to show DME and activate Vloc , NOT GPS.

I use the GN430 with the F28-4000 and the Skyhawk 152 steam-gauge flying in the USA for low altitude IFR (US certified IFR pilot) and flight planning is done with a I tablet running WingXPro, that gives you all that is needed: including STARS, approach plates etc, then use that to setup the GPS unit. Also if VORs are not active (using MSFS2020) then use the GPS with the OBS option.

We're currently working on our Tornado and we also have plans for another British classic (subject to a successful ROI discussion) but, as far as the VC10 goes, we are unlikely to ever revisit that one. One thing to add - if any other developer fancied doing a VC10 for MSFS2024 we would always be open to licensing our source code at reasonable cost. Please form an orderly queue....

The only difference I see between your install and mine is that my TBM 930s are streamed, while it looks like you downloaded yours. Maybe try them streamed if you haven't already, and see if it fixes it? We have all the same versions enabled. I tried messing with my graphics settings but couldn't get my instruments to look like yours.
