BAC 1-11 Issue

I have a few just flight products that I enjoy flying such as the Comet and the VC-10 however I cannot stand flying my BAC 1-11 because of an autopilot trimming issue. During the initial climb everything works fine up until around 23000ft, once I get to around this altitude the trim begins to run away and the nose of the aircraft continuously pitches up and down until the autopilot is disengaged. If the autopilot is re-engaged the roller coaster motion starts again. The strange trimming means it's impossible to hold any altitude above 23000ft.
Has anybody else come across this issue and how did you solve it? thanks in advance. :grinning_face:
