PLease update the Sounds

  • Hello,

    i just bought the Application. And i must say its nice and have not much Performance minus. But the Sounds of the Planes sounds like a Vacuum Cleaner and not like a Plane. 😞 PLease get better sounds. Thx you

    @deissek

    Odd. The sounds have won praise from most reviewers. TG has got a very comprehensive sound package in P3D and XP.

  • @Derek mm I opend a facebook tread and many people say the planes sounds like a vakuum cleaner lol. Where can i find the folder to the sound files?

  • JF Staff

    @deissek

    No idea where the soundfiles are and I wouldn't set much store by what you read on Facebook. Your best bet would be to contact Just Flight support and they can probably give you an idea where they are located.

    Not much mention of sounds on here and this is the definitive group for X-Plane fans:

    https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/forum/503-traffic-global/

    Worth asking there to see what others think, although of all things we've been asked to do with this program, sounds isn't one of them.

  • Actually deissek is quite right, there is a distinct humming sound as the some jets take off or land and frankly I am surprised others have not commented on it. The 3D sound is very good and not all of them do this. When it occurs its almost as if the sound of a turbo prop is being played at the same time so perhaps this is a bug in the software yet to be ironed out?

    It's not something that has been reported. NB that he has said 'the sounds of the Planes sounds like a Vacuum Cleaner' which is not the same as what you've described. If you can let JF support know of an example of this 'double sound' aircraft we can certainly look into it.

  • I know he said vacuum, I think that is perhaps because he may be hearing jet sound and the sound of a turbo prop mixed hence his description? Its just a guess but vacuum cleaners do have a lot or motor noise coupled with the sound of air moving through the pipework and that would tally with what I am hearing every so often. Perhaps what I experience on some aircraft he is getting every time? Who knows.

    Anyway I have raised it with support. I can record what I am hearing if it helps?
