    Hi !
I don't be able to start the engine of the C172 WBsim.
    I've charged the battery.
I tried several time : pumping or not with the throttle, fuel pump on, push throttle : I see the neddle rise
Mixture pushed, mixture not pushed and pushed progressivly...
only way to start is CTRL E
previous version were ok, but not the last 1.08.
    What am I missing ?
    PLEASE HELP !
    Thanks

Rich mixture, throttle at 100%, activate boost pump for 3 seconds, turn off boost pump, throttle at approximately 10% (1/2 inch) mix at 90% (1/4 inch to 1/2 inch below 100%) and activate start until it starts.

I did that exactly : I used the tooltips for adust throttle and mixture at 10 and 90 % and it's working !
but it's not realistic to had to put the both at those values so precisly. I fly in the real life in a cessna 172 and it's more easy to start up !

I have just experienced the same problem, that I solved by pressing Ctrl-E to start the engine. When done once, the engine then starts normally (manually). I guess something is wrong in the setup and Ctrl-E automatic startup fixes it.
I had another problem: in pushback mode, the aircraft won't move when with the yoke, but this is another topic...

I did an error : too long pomp and flowed the engine. 2 seconds max to prime, not 3 very long sec as I did, and the engine start normaly 😉
