Tow bar

Can anyone explain the towbar panel, and what do the + and - numbers do?
The back arrow moves the plane sideways. I'm lost....

Yeah i found that out last night , i dont think the tow bar is working as it should ..

The functionality of the towbar is explained on page 36 of the manual and it's working correctly here using P3D v4.

If it's not working as per the manual description for you then please submit a support ticket and we'll investigate further.

As Gary says clicking the back arrow moves the Robin sideways... funny thing is it worked fine earlier but now its happened again

Regarding the TOWBAR .... done some testing ....it works with no or clear weather but as soon as i load up Active sky it starts going sideways when it should be going backwards , shut Active sky down and set clear weather defaults and it then works as it should again... i get the same with the JF PA28 Arrow too.

It actually happens to all the JF aircraft that have the 'tow' feature. I use Active Sky so I leave that feature alone. I've just checked my support ticket and JF can't replicate the problem.
