TBM co-pilot HSI

The documentation states: The HSI in this aircraft is permanently connected to the NAV1 source.
However, with the TDS GTN driving the pilot's EHSI in GPS mode, the co-pilot HSI appears to be slaved to the NAV1 radio (VOR1).. Should it not also be slaved to the GTN 750?
Edit: Second thought... it is actually handy to have a dedicated VOR1 gauge, separate from the pilot's EHSI and the label does say "VOR1".. so I withdraw my question :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes:
