Just Flight’s VFR Real Scenery NexGen 3D Vol 1. Southern England & South Wales

I am running FSX Steam edition and have recently purchased the VFR Scenery vol 1. I am failing to see any difference in the graphics at all. It appears that no real scenery is showing up.
So a couple of questions. How can I tell that it's been installed OK into MS FSX:SE ?
In FSX:SE Settings>Scenery Library I get "Just Flight VFR-RS 3D Area 1 listed as Priority 1is that correct? What else should see?
Also there is an update from v1.00.0 to 1.00.4 available but when I install it it causing FSX:SE not to load and just gets stuck at the splash screen. I then have to validate it's files for it to start working again.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.
