    Hi,

Is it just me? When using live traffic, I always have a working TCAS.
With Global Traffic, nothing appears, although the Global Traffics radar map shows lost of aircraft nearby..
Any help will be much appreciated.

    Jos

Some aircraft, and some external tools, use the X-Plane ‘multiplayer’ aircraft locations to provide a TCAS (Traffic
Collision Avoidance System) feature. Traffic Global does not use multiplayer aircraft at all, so normally these tools
will not show the locations of nearby AI aircraft.
You can tell Traffic Global to use the multiplayer aircraft locations for up to 19 nearby aircraft. This limit is
imposed by X-Plane itself, which will only allow 20 aircraft to exist at a time. The TCAS option is available in the
‘Settings’ dialogue and does not require X-Plane to be restarted.
There should be no performance penalty for adding this but there will be some additional aircraft displayed on
the in-game map and these will have incorrect orientations and labels.
You will also need to use the X-Plane ‘Flight Configuration’ dialogue to manually enable the multiplayer aircraft.
To do this, open the Flight Configuration page and click on the ‘AI Aircraft’ button near the top. On the next page,
click the ‘Add Aircraft’ button until no more can be added.

If you have done all of the above, have you got TCAS in any other aircraft?

@Derek Yes, in that case, there is traffic showing up.
        Thank you for the advice.

An update: yes, following the instructions, Tcas works but ... adding the 19 aircraft adds also 3 gigabytes to the x-plane texture load. So that solution is a big no no, I'm afraid.

            @beep747

There is a good tutorial on setting TCAS here:
