Engine not starting in XP12

Hey there, I'd say there's a very good chance that this is because of the custom fuel code not working with the custom fuel code, but the engine refuses to start when I load the plane in 12. The engine works fine when I start the mission with engines running, but if it ever dies, it won't restart. I've followed the checklists (hell, I fly it IRL), so I don't think it's pilot error-- is there anything I'm missing, or do I need to just want for a compatibility update?

I'm also having the issue with the Just Flight Piper Archer TX XP11 airplane files being used with XP12. Really need this to work go thru engine start procedures
