Sort algorithm in this forum

This forum is very coloured but how is it sorted?
is there any principal behind the gonglomeration of headlines and texts? Or is it all put together „by no paticular order“ ?
In old fashioned forums there was a try to bring some order and logic into the words by sorting the topics for example the newest threads on top of the pile and in chronological order.

It's a proprietary 'off the peg' program. No idea how it's written.
If you click on the 'Home' tab it shows everything in order.
Main headings, sub-heading etc.TBH I usually just click on the 'recent' icon to see what's new. That sorts everything in time order.
