If we look in the manifest.json file for each addon there's a "package version" which tells us which version of the plane we're running. It would be quite useful if there was a message pinned here with the current version numbers for all the addons as a one stop shop to save us watching inboxes and spam folders and checking multiple boards to see if everything is up to date.

    Cheers 🙂

Yes, I know. Let me try that again with a bit of text formatting.

Do you mean a single page with a list of every update for every title? Not sure that would be practical and I wouldn't fancy the job of trying to keep it up to date. We probably need what the young people call an 'app' - although, of course, that would only manage our own titles and the jury is out on whether the majority of customers actually like them.

Personally I wrote a script that pulls the latest version from the forums update thread for each aircraft and compares that to my manifest.json so I can run that script once a week or so and make sure all my add-ons are up to date.

I wonder if it would be possible to show something in-game on the tablet though if an update is available for the plane? Most people aren't going to want to run a script or check a website periodically but if there was a little "Update Available!" notification on the tablet when you loaded up the plane that could be a helpful prompt to go and download the new version

@derek I was thinking more of a short post something like

              Arrow III - 0.10.3
              Turbo Arrow - 0.5.5
              Hawk - 0.1.7

etc etc with just the plane and the current version number, but really I'm just being lazy and it's no biggie to check the individual boards considering the top message in each board has the version number in the title 🙂

              Cheers
              G.
