From the manual: The RADIO LIGHTS rotary knob controls the backlighting for the avionics displays (SL30, SL40 and GTX).
However, this is not working. Only the audio panel lights work. Powering on each individual radio doesn't work when the light switch is on.

I was slowly going mad with this one.
Initially, I thought that I might be missing a font, because the radios were working, just not displaying.
        That wasn't the problem
I deleted and reinstalled. Radios working fine. I closed the sim down. Later when I opened it again, they had stopped working. GTN units were working. Toggled the GTN off and back to the basic panel. Not working. Deleted and reinstalled, working. Used cockpit switcher to enable GTN, radios stopped working.
If the GTN is working the Com 2 radio should still work and the transponder, although now controlled by the GTN, but they do not display. Exit sim and set the cockpit changer back to Standard. Launch Sim, lights still not working. Delete and reinstall, leave cockpit changer at Standard, lights working.
So, as far as I can see, if you want the radios and transponder to work correctly, you must delete and reinstall and then keep the cockpit changer on Standard. You can switch to GTN but the radio and transponder lights will no work and you cannot toggle back.

@petesmiffy I've also had this problem. Radio panels stay completely black. The only workaround i have found that fixes it is doing the auto start in the top left panel. I'll reinstall and see if that works.

Uninstalled, reinstalled no difference. The avionics lights worked using the default setup (just radios, no GPS). Switching to GNS or GTN lighting didn't work. I submitted a support ticket regarding this issue.

Same problem here, GTN is working fine, but radio and transponder are staying black.

If you haven't already done so, please submit a support ticket so we can investigate further - https://support.justflight.com/support/tickets/new

This isn't something we encountered in testing but it should be a simple fix once we find the cause.

We've now fixed this issue and will get the installer updated. It's a very small fix so I'll also see about getting a link to just the updated CFG files to save you having to download the full installer.

                  Apologies for the inconvenience.

The updated installer (v1.01) is now live.

And here's a link to the replacement CFGs which need to be pasted into the panel folder, overwriting the originals - http://cdn.justflight.com/support/pa38/tomahawkpanel.zip

That's done the trick, thank you.
                      One fine simulation, now.

                          Original issue is corrected.
I use Reality XP products in place of Flight 1. The Reality XP GTN 650/750 works fine as popup window and as well in the virtual panel.
The Reality XP GNS 430/530 however works for the popup, but the GNS units in the virtual panel remains dark. Is there a way to correct this?

The product currently only officially supports the Flight1 units but we will look into support for the RealityXP equivalents.

@Martyn Is the F1 GTN 650 unit visible in the VC instead of the standard radios when switching the cockpit in PA28switch.exe to F1 GTN 750/650???

Yes, you can use the tool to switch between having the F1 GTN 650 or 750 visible in the VC.
