MSFS from XBOX but running on PC

Hi All
I have just purchased the DC Designs Concorde for MSFS and I am having issues not installing but the game seeing the install, is this because we have installed the game through the XBOX store application, as we have the game pass from purchasing from our Xbox subscription. Are we running the XBOX game through the PC, or is this a PC version, or do I have to purchase and run the game via steam etc..

I've logged a support ticket and awaiting a reply -
OK, managed to install this now, turns out Windows Exploit Protection was stopping it from running correctly.
I went to Settings->Update & Security->Windows Security->App & Browser Control
Under Exploit Protection I added the installer and turned off everything, worked fine after that.
