I've spent a few more hours in the Arrow since the update. I'm not using anywhere near the range of travel with the trim, either forwards or backwards, since SU8 and the 10.3 update as I was before it. It's better than it was immediately after SU8, but it's still pretty sensitive and I'm happy I have the wheel in the Logitech Multi Panel instead of needing to use a trim up/down button.

Is this sill being looked at, or is it in a state you guys are happy with? I freely admit I have no real world flying experience, just the hours I put into the Arrow pre-SU8 as a comparison, but going from a lot of nose down for cruise to being able to blow on the wheel seems like a drastic leap.

@jmarkows I'm using trim up/down buttons and it works very nicely for me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe using the electric trim (i.e the trim up/down buttons on the yoke) would be the norm in flight in the real Arrow.

@sender46 I have trim up/down on my yoke and I use it for certain things like establishing a climb or leveling off, but I'm watching the actual travel of the trim and I'm barely using any. It's not the "tap the button and get wild swings of +-600fpm" it was right after SU8, it just feels overly effective.

If I hold trim down for a second while leveling off, even backing off some forward pressure I'll still end up descending by a few hundred feet per minute.

In cruise I'm barely using forward of neutral trim, I used to need like half travel.
