Anyone still using Traffic x and FSX

Hi Simmers, just wondering if any one is still using FSX and Traffic x, from what I have seen and heard with the new flight sim 20 and TG I am still happy to use FSX and Traffic X. Just wondering if anybody else is still using it?
I suspect we are in quite a small club of FSX / Traffic X users. I have been able to add some of the 'extras' from Traffic 360 into my FSX but otherwise I am still soldiering on.
For extra AI, I like to use the useful program AIFP to add to the AI built into TX.
I was enthusiastic when TG was first proposed but soon became disillusioned when it moved from being a user-friendly program to one that seems to have become something that, if you don't like what you get, it is not nearly as flexible as the previous AI programs. I suppose there are many TG users who are using it but from the comments raised in the Forums it is not a program I want to get messed up with.
I don't have the power to move on to P3D and especially MSFS 2020 so they are out too. -

HI @raym, great to hear from you, yeah I just got a new computer and the tech guy that sent up my new computer installed the FSX , I put in the Traffic x and once I work out how to get rid of the unhandled error I get in Traffic x I am looking forward to redoing all my flight plans as I found that as much fun as flying the flight sim. I am going to give MSFS a miss even though its looks great, I dont think I can be bothered with the bugs that come with it, great to hear from you my friend. -
In which case you may struggle getting it to run on a new PC with Windows 10. Most games and other software on copy protected discs (not just ours) are blocked from installing by Win 10.

Hi Ray, now Loaded the Traffic x disk in, the hanger works fine and can move the planes to make flyable, its when I click on the flight plans, or any other application within the control centre that I get the un handled Error, I remembered the same thing happening when I fist got traffic x years ago, a guy I used to work with fixed up my computer and he fixed the problem in like 3 clicks, I just didnt take any notice what he clicked :face_with_rolling_eyes: I have googled how to fix an unhandled Error so once the pc I have the flight sim on is fixed I will have a go at fixing the error. -
@raym
Ray I suggest if you windows 7 is working fine and your sim and Traffic is working fine then leave it, I only got windows 10 because the computer I had with the sim on, (mind you I had that computer for like 15 years) so I had to get a new one, and the tech put windows 10 on it, He got me another older computer that had windows 7 so he reinstalled the flight sim on to that one, I reinstalled the traffic x its just one disk, and got the unhandled error.
But like I saisd if your pc windows 7 is still running good then leave it. -
@derek
Hi Derek, the tech that got me my new computer and put 10 on it, gave me an old computer he had that still uses Win 7 so I use that for the FSX and Traffic x the flyable hanger works fine and I can get my jets but any thing else like flight plans and complying and every thing else in the control centre wont work cause of that error. -
I wouldn't really know where to start. Win 7 is no longer supported by MS and has caused font problems with more recent versions of Traffic (and other programs). You should try JF support but they may not be able to help you with that setup. It does sound like there is something wrong with the installation.
