    I was afraid of that. I kind of wish I had no idea that this was coming since the wait is getting old. I get that things take time but this is a needed addon for the classic simmers such as myself.

    I hope with the time that this is taking, problems are being fixed like the lack of the wing kink, models with the left upper exit deleted, cargo door angles fixed, and other general bugs. As long as bugs are getting fixed, by all means take as much time as is needed.

    @Captain-Bakon
    Forget it,bro. It's unlikely to come out this year.

    @Captain-Bakon Definitely won't be out this year I'm afraid. We're tackling various issues related to the development of this one, issues that won't occur with any of out in-house projects, not that's any consolation we know but them's the facts right now. All I can say is we'll bring you more news just as soon as we're able to. Apologies for the continued delay with this.

    As much as i'm looking forward to this release,this bothers me.It seems you are tackling issues with the external dev team doing this project.If you are allready having issues with them today,i'm having second thoughts about how this product will be supported in the future/after release.
    I can see issues arising with futur patches/bug fixes.
    I hope you,JF, can fix these issues and get this bird out to us cargo haulers ;).

    Brgds,
    Steven

    @centurion88 If we did that people would complain that nothing has changed. Truth is very little has in terms of visuals so it's rather pointless showing the same content. The coding side of things is delayed currently but we hope to get back on track just as soon as we can. Apologies and thanks for your continued interest.

    Its been almost a month with no update. Was just wondering if development was continuing or if things were on hold because of COVID. I don't mean to be a pain in the rear but even a weekly comment saying "progress is slow but still moving foreward" would be awesome if able.

    @CptKiddAPI Progress is still delayed. We're attempting to get things moving again, hope to have news soon for you. Sorry for the lack of comms, there's very little we can say and report on currently.

    Thank you for the response. I am happy with an update of nothing has changed to be honest.

    I’m curious about what the hold up is, is it coding issues or modeling fixes? I did notice a few problems with the model that have been raised, the left upper exit always being present, the missing wing kink at the number 1 and number 4 engine pylons, nose and upper side cargo doors still having the wrong opening angles, etc.

    @Noob21 yeah it's probably a lot of fixing stuff which takes even more time due to covid most likely

    Hi everyone,

    The delay is entirely down to me! Worry not, however - work is continuing as fast as possible!

    I never dump projects, and support will not be an issue either. I'm posting here to allay any concerns in this regard.

    This last year has been unprecedented, and while I'm not personally affected by the various lockdowns, etc., (such is the life of a software engineer!), I'm still human.

    Development and overall progress is going well, and we hope to have something new to show you Soon(TM).

    Best regards,
    Robin.

    @B744ERF
    Hi,
    So, are the problems causing the delay solved? Does it mean that the development is close to its finish?
    Thanks.

    @centurion88 since this is quite an ambitious project i would say it will still take a while but it's good to know that development is back on track for now

    We actively do not speculate on release dates or completion.

    It's a large project, but it has been in development now for 2 years, so make of that what you will. :winking_face_with_tongue:

    Work continues... :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

    but it's good to know that development is back on track for now

    It was never off-track...just delayed slightly due to personal issues. :pensive_face:

    Anyway...we will try to start showing you stuff at some point! We are closer to the end than the beginning!

    If you're curious, we're at around 75,000 lines of code and counting, and the project started from zero.

    If there is anything about the systems development you'd like to know (how a system is developed generally, or how a specific system is implemented in the sim) please feel free to ask and I'll answer as far as I can. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

    Best regards,
    Robin.

    That's quite impressive, I bet once the 747 releases it will be one of the most detailed and complex airliners out there. And I love detailed and complex airliners!

    @B744ERF
    Could you tell me what the most complex system is? And in what degree it has been developed up to now?
