747 Classic Progress

With fs2020 so close now . I Think people will wait for it on that platform. If it was released earlier then maybe people might have purchased it for both. Just an observation
-
@Oskar3058 Yep you're perhaps right, some will wait for it to be on that platform, some might not, we shall see. All of that hasn't escaped us, rest assured.
-
Yeah as someone who doesn't currently own P3D, I will definitely be waiting on the 747CL and A300 to be ported to the new flight simulator, but as soon as they are available on that platform, I will definitely snatch them up and show JF my support.

@Voice-of-Reason
More pics and vids plz. It has been a long time since the latest pictures were released. -
I guess it is coming next month, I wonder how close we are to a release canidate.
-
@Captain-Bakon When you find out please let us know. :) Seriously, we're getting there but no guarantees on dates still from us at the moment. There will be some new pics and some small development updates over the coming days with some narrative to them. Mainly on Social Media and then on our website.
-
There's a small development update on our Facebook page now if you wanted to take a look, some text and accompanying pictures make up the post.
-
JF PLEASE tell me there is a high chance of it being released this month. I really want to fly the classic again! Last time was the CLS version 8 years ago and it was nowhere as good as this one!
-
@Captain-Bakon I don't think there's a high chance, a chance perhaps but a slender one rather than high I'd say.
-
How is development on the 747 Classic going? I hope it didn't stall!
-
It is said that the JF 146 Professionl is coming late this year and a dem video has been released. I wonder how close is it from the release of 747cl. A video demonstrating the sounds or other effects would be great if the product is finished enough.
-
I don't know about anyone else but I am starting to wonder if this thing is ever going to be released. Been a while since we have heard anything and still no video showcasing actual sounds or the cockpit in flight. Planning on getting it for P3D first anyway so I'm not too keen on waiting even longer for an FS2020 version. I hope I am wrong.
-
@CptKiddAPI Yeah they have been dark for a while, hopefully they are close to releasing since a summer release is a no go now. All we can hope for is wait and hope it gets released this year.
-
Hi guys,
The 747 team are zeroing in on the release now. The major systems are done and they just need another few weeks to finish off setting up things like switch sounds and miscellaneous systems. Keep an eye out for new pics this week as things like a polished set of liveries and a tailstand for the 200F have been added very recently. -
@Rich
Glad to hear that the 747cl is close to its release, and whether it can be released by the end of this year? It will be one of the few good news I've ever heard in 2020 if the answer is "Yes". -
This is great news! maybe we can see the 747 this month possibly! Will there be more pics and a video of the cockpit and the sounds?
-
@Noob21 said in 747 Classic Progress:
@Rich Excellent, do you guys know which between the X-Plane or MSFS2020 version will get higher priority to be finished after the P3D version?
Oh, i would love to see the classic 747 in MSFS!
-
@Hewi Heck yes that would be a dream come true, MSFS is desperately in need of airliners especially complex functional ones.
-
Well considering just how complex JF is making the systems, it’s probably going to take a decent amount of time to recode them for FS2020. I expect it to take 9-12 months after the P3D release to make it to FS2020, though I wouldn’t object to it being sooner than that.
