    Hello

I'm glad you guys took the time to make a study-level sim of the classic 747, I was just wondering if it will be ready this summer and if not by at least this year?

Any idea what month the plane will initially release? June, July, or August?

@Captain-Bakon July or August we'd hope but that's no guarantee of course.

Do you have any pictures showcasing the cockpit night lighting?

Judging by the system description on the product page it seems this is gonna be a study level classic!

No pics of the night lighting at the moment. The night lighting will be added after the PBR materials have been added to the cockpit, which is just about ready now. We'll be releasing some WIP pics pretty soon.

Not sure if this is an original statement or not, but I would love to see an add on pack for the "Special" 747's. The VC-25A (Air Force 1), E-4B Nightwatch (Doomsday Command Post) which could be 3d models only, no need for systems or Flight Model Changes. The big one that would need a flight model change would be NASA's Shuttle Carrier. 3 Icon's of old school 747 lineage, and honestly the baddest four sevens to ever take to the sky's.

It would be great to see those along with the Super Pig, -100 and -200 Combis, and the -300 variants, pax, combi, and BCF

The exterior models and PBRs are very nearly complete, and the systems aren't far off too. The aircraft is undergoing extensive testing and we'll share more information soon (Facebook and the in-development page are usually the best places to follow progress).

Do you need beta testers? I would really like an opportunity to beta test this.

How is the project coming along how much further until release? I really want to fly a classic 747 so bad.

We already have a large beta team comprised of 747 pilots, engineers and simmers for this product, thanks.

Good progress is being made daily. Wingflex and effects have just been added and night lighting is getting underway this week. Also by the end of this week we should have the first full systems beta out to our testers.
We're counting down the weeks rather than months until release at this point!

This is very exciting Rich just answer this one question please:

I know the overhead panel will be 100% functional, can you give me a percentage on the F/E panel functionality please?

My oh my, I can’t wait to see the 747 in action. I’d hope to see it by my birthday, but that’s probably just a tad too early to realistically see it come out.

It's going to be near enough fully simulated. Certainly the key systems like hydraulic, electrical, engine bleed, fuel and pressurisation systems have been simulated to a deep level.

Where can you find the water injection system controls, since I know JF will be including this system too.

Also love the new cabin screenshots you uploaded, is the cockpit connected to the cabin so we can walk around in flight?

Usually the more systems modelled, the lower the performance unless on super pc’s.
Any word on how it’s doing in this regard with the testers?
