      Hi
This might not be the right forum for this topic, but I have so starte at some place.

      The issue is following.
I have bought a new PC and installed the FSX without any problem, including the activation.
Before installing the acceleration package I have tested the FSX and it worked with the default planes and settings.
When I install the acceleration pagkage the installation seems to be OK as the installer tells me the package has been succesfully installed.
However I never get to a point in the installation where I am requested to enter the product key for the acceleration package.
When starting the FXS I now get a message about some intenal error related to the activation.
FXS seems to be running OK until after an hour where I get the information the trial period is expired.
I have tried to uninstall both FXS and the accelleration package and install again with the same result.

      Does anybody have a suggestion?
A lot of add-on procucts require the acceleration package to be installed.

        Do this:-

        1. run regedit (Windowskey +R)
        2. Expand the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTRO L\CLASS{4D36E967-
          E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
        3. After you find the folder, double-click Upperfilters on the right side.
        4. Change the value from 0 to PartMgr and/or remove any other settings and then click OK.
        5. Close Registry Editor
        6. Start FSX/Accel and you should get the registration wizard.

(Just to make it clear. Change partmgr to PartMgr).

The next time you launch FSX, you'll have the prompt to enter the ACCELERATION product key.

Closed/Opened a few times, and all seems well.

        ..
