L1011 (Not Pro) INS error

Hi
I can get the INS alligned, green light with perf index below 5 and switch from "Align" to "Nav". However every time I move off from the stand the Red Warn light comes on to indicate an error and I can't then use the INS to navigate.
Whats going wrong?
Any idea's?

Also I use spad next so can look at the LVARs state. Does anyone know what LVARS to set in what order to enable a fast align as the INS Mode select is a pain to accurately operate with a mouse.
