F-15 Bug Reports/feedback
-
Hi - Concsious it is early days - some feedback for you though (note I am flying in VR with G2/3080 combo)
- Lower interior surfaces on nacelle/inlets is transparent when looking out of the cockpit
- Turbines are invisible when in exterior view so you can look down the jet intakes through the plane
- Mouse cursor is slaved to the left screen. 70% of people are right eye dominant so this is a PITA. Please can it be 'mirrored' in both eyes, or an option to select which eye?
- MFD OSBs didn't work to change MFD page
- Radio channel select knob seems to be stuck to 'military' frequencies making it impossible to respond to ATC frequency changes using the radios.
- Cockpit floodlight seemed to turn on, but not off?
- HUD refresh rate is too low - it was unreadable - would prefer the option to turn it off using the HUD RJCT switch (or similar) and fly using analogue dials.
Thanks,
-
Hi.
First - congrats for the awesome plane, F-15 is my favorite jet. :)
I have an issue with the cockpit view - my FPS are more than halved when flying from the cockpit. It is hard to fly such a fast plane with a 20-ish FPS.
With the external view I get at least 45 FPS in the same areas.Perhaps it's too early, but I want to ask if there are some optimizations coming along?
Best regards.

Hi, thanks for the feedback!
Most of your points are already being fixed, but the mouse cursor in VR is an MSFS bug with add-on aircraft only ( stock aircraft don't suffer it ). Asobo are looking into that one.
The other one that I'm not sure on is the HUD issue. For now, setting DLAA mode makes it crystal clear, it's only blurred in TAA mode.
First update due out later this week :)

@Marin_Marinov Hi, glad you're enjoying the Eagle! :)
The issue with some users in the cockpit with FPS loss seems to be linked to the gauges, especially the HUD. I might have a solution to it and am testing at the moment. If it works out, then it will be with the first update later this week :)
