The product description indicates that the paint kit is included for this aircraft, but I am unable to find it.

Where can we download the paint kit?

    Thanks in advance,

The paint kit was included in today's update Marc, it's in the main aircraft folder in a folder named Paint Kit

I've been painting for years but so far am struggling to see how the paint kit files relate to the model textures. For example, doors are in different positions, orientations and sizes. The orientation of the forward doors on the paint kit are angled, yet on the model texture files they are vertical, and the spacing between the L1 and L2 doors is also different between the paint kit and model texture files. Doors on the paint kit are different in size from the texture files.

Also, when I open the xcf Wing file in GIMP there are many layers for individual textures such as rivets and so on, but the Fuselage xcf file has just three layers with all the lines, doors, rivets, shading, BA Speedbird, etc. merged as on layer. Before I fathom out how best to use the paint kit I wanted to check that we have the correct version?

I'm really enjoying flying the model and keen to get painting!

        Thanks,

@CourtLineFlyer You're absolutely right, I've supplied an earlier version of the paint kit before I altered the UV maps for greater resolution! No matter how many times I check, there's always something... it's my age I think.

I will update the files and inform Just Flight, sorry for the confusion.

Is it possible to get an Adobe Photoshop PSD paint kit?

@CXA001 Sadly, if I try to export from GIMP to PSD, all the layers are lost so it's not really possible I'm afraid.

Would it be possible to get blank white textures with an overlay showing where all the different components are? i.e nose gear doors, etc. in PSD format.

Sorry for the late reply, I missed this one! A new paint-kit is being built at some point, so the UV layout will change and I'll include it with the future paint kit.
